This replacement transmission shifter boot fits 72-79 CJ5, 72-75 CJ6, 76-79 CJ7, 75-79 J-Series Trucks and 75-79 Cherokee / Wagoneer SJ models equipped with T14 / T15 3-speed manual transmissions. Boot is a 5-inch by 6-inch oval shape with a 0.60-inch diameter shifter hole. For shifter boot retainer, use 18881.19. Replaces OE 948185

Perfect fit for the T18 in my 77 CJ. Thick rubber, high quality molding, tight fit on the shifter. I applied a little WD40 to the shifter to avoid damaging the boot.

We were looking for a shifter boot for my husband's 2200 Ditch Witch Trencher and I found this one! It's the only one I found that would work on the trencher!

The shifter boot ripped within a short period of time, but was still under warranty. I sent pics and they told me to send it back to be swapped out. So I paid postage to mail it back and then they said they would not cover the warranty because the pictures showed the vehicle had a body lift. But they already knew it had a body lift from the the pics included in the first email. If they were concerned about the lift, don't lie about it being covered and then change your story. Bad way t0 do business.

The rubber is too thick. Put this on my Mustang Mini Stock. The car would pop out of gear since it was so tight.

Had to trim it a bit and redrill the holes to fit my '46 2A. Not surprised because everything seems to need to be modified to fit a 70 year old vehicle. Once I did that, it works well. It is thick, but I have not noticed some of the issues others have stated. It hasn't ripped yet and has been on over a month with about 500 miles around town so it has been used.
