They send one fat cutting and 2 little twigs per order. I ordered 2. Tbh, I didn't have much confidence in the twigs but in @ 10 days all 6 are leafing out and have roots. Couldn't be happier.

They weren't lying when they said this was a fast growing tree it absolutely is it's only been in the glass for 2 weeks and this is how bushy it has gotten and it was one thick stalk and two small ones with a few bugs on it and I am following the instructions to a tee it's almost time to put it in potting soil but it says to wait 3 to 4 weeks so one more week

These did not grow at all. I did everything that was said in the instructions sent with. They never did grow!!

Grows fast in water

The description says "ready to plant", but no roots has been established to plant. The cuttings still need to be soaked in water for two weeks. That is not ready to plant. It should of been rooted already. The items seems healthy, but now a additional two weeks are needed and hopefully they root. I figured it a waiting game on my part now when I was under the impression that all I had to do was plant the cuttings as described.Not a honest description of the product and it should be corrected. False advertising isn't legal and also it's a poor business practice which has reflect negatively on CZ Grain.

First of all, this is long and thorough. Secondly, the cuttings arrived promptly and in good shape. The root ends were wrapped in a wet paper towel keeping them alive, and the package was clearly marked live plants. Important in this heat. The company is also nice enough to send more cuttings than ordered. All three of my orders contained 2-4 extra cuttings!As promised, placing the cuttings in a jar of water produced rapid root growth and top growth appeared quickly. Pretty exciting to see that.Out of all these cuttings only one was a dud, but I wasn't sure. So I wrote CZ Grain and asked a question, and immediately Deanna said they would send a replacement. Don't forget they sent extras anyway!So continuing on, after a week in water I moved them all into individual pots with soil, and gave them another week. While it's easy to see root growth in water, it's pretty hard to tell when in soil. The true test came yesterday and today when all 9 plants were transferred into the ground. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, because I don't yet know the end results. But if I could give 4.5 I would for excellent customer service.To sum it up, I planted them in existing soil 3-4 feet apart without adding any fertilizer or supplements. My goal is to create a privacy/sound screen. Because such importance was made about watering (they send very good instructions and have a video on Youtube) a soaker hose runs by each one put on a timer, currently set to water for 15 minutes every 4 hours. That will be adjusted if necessary. Finally, all this followed by a weed barrier and 4 inches of mulch.So now I've finished about half the wall and have ordered more to continue. The cages around each one (see pictures) are to prevent my Golden Retriever from picking up a cutting and bringing it to me!I very much hope to update this review with good news in the near future!
