I got this for turning lidded boxes. I haven't really mastered it's use. So far I find it easier to use a square end scraper. Time will tell. I think One Way is a good tool company, so I haven't given up.

I have five years experience in woodturning and was very disappointed in the Termite. Maybe I was expecting too much but gave it several tries with poor results. Maybe it was me?

Haven't tried this yet but wanted to say the shipping was faster than stated. Amazon said it would arrive the 6th-12th and it arrived on the 4th. It was packaged well and looks good.

The cutter cloggs up a lot if not holding it just right. Maybe I need more practice with it?I think a hook tool would work better.

This is my favorite tool for hollowing. It's fast and easy to use. It comes with a sharpening stone and two bits. I bought the larger bit as well.

Not new to woodworking but new to turning. I've been buying tools to learn hollow forms and this is a good one. Very easy to learn (but you gotta read the directions, because it isn't intuitive until you understand), and easy to use.Almost impossible to catch, which is a plus for newbie turners. Highly recommended, with one exception: The sharpening system is designed for routers, but I have honed by hand and so far so good. Also, the Allen set screw comes loose during use due to vibration so you have to watch that.
