I bought these to support some fairly heavy JBL 4410 monitors. They are better than the similar ones I own that had the triangular framed bases and seem pretty sturdy, although you’ll want to make sure they are weight balanced evenly when placed on the stands.I ordered the rosewood version with the false hope that the platform and base would be made of solid wood. It appears they are MDF or some other similar material with a vinyl woodgrain veneer. Also this veneer was slightly lifting off from the front edge of the monitor platform that faces front. I tried to fix it with some superglue and only risked making it worse. But it’s not worth the return hassle. Also it was missing one of the washers for the screws that hold the speaker platform onto the pole but that’s a minor thing. Bottom line is these will do a pretty good job, but you get what you pay for. They are good for the money.

Of all the products I have ordered from Amazon, this one, by far, had the absolute worst packaging I’ve ever seen! One of the stands had broken holding pin clip (plastic) due to the terrible packaging. I assume this is the fault of both On-Stage & Amazon for not providing adequate packaging to ship it. The actual stand, once assembled, is good for its intended use.
