I’m giving these a 5 rating simply because you receive 4 clock mechanisms, 4 brackets for holding them as I am holding in the 4th photo, and 5 different styles of hands for such a low price! Are they better than others here on Amazon? No. These are cheap mechanisms that, in my experience, tend to work very well. And the other Important thing is that they LOOK GOOD. And that’s what most of us need that are on a budget. All you need is 1 AA battery to make them work. And I should mention for those of you new to this that you cannot use a rechargeable battery in these kinds of clock mechanisms. They don’t keep time well with them after just a short time. You need to use the regular batteries in them. Then, the power lasts for many months and they keep good time. With the first photo I took for you, it shows that the measurements of the hands included are from 5-7” in length. However, all of these hands are made to fit clocks that are 10” in width or larger. But you can alter them exceptionally easily for use in far smaller clocks. You simply take sharp scissors and snip the hands to length. This is very easy and this is the benefit of the hands being such cheap, thin metal!😂You may think at first that a 14” width clock would be necessary for the set of hands that is 7” because the hands move around the face (if you don’t alter them by cutting them). However, that isn’t true because as you can see by the last photo, the hands jut out on both sides. It’s just that the hands only jut out an inch or so on one side as you can see by the photo. So, in fact, all of these hands are made to fit clocks that are 10” to 12” or even 14” depending on the look that you want.If you look at the last photo, it appears that the hands are too long. However, that is simply because I have the clock mechanism placed inside the clock area with the metal pole that sticks up that holds the hands. So, the hands are so far above the circular clock that they don’t look like they fit, but they do fit perfectly inside the clock area. So, as long as you can fit this mechanism at the back of a clock with its 2” and 1/8” size (perfect square) as you can see in the photos, they should work well for you.I hope that something here in words and/or photos helped you get a better sense of these to figure out if they might be a good option for you. Wishing You health, wealth, and happiness!

Great selection of clock mechanisms, they work perfect for our clocks we make. The pieces come packaged nicely and all hardware is included. The hands are a very thin metal so you have to be careful not to bend them but that is very normal for these things. The different style options are nice we are able to change up the looks.
