This cable was the perfect solution to hook up my sound bar to my older tv. Nothing else would work so I bought this and now I have surround sound.

I was a little concerned when I purchased this unit, but I was very surprised and pleased when I received it. The interconnect cables are long enough to provided connectivity to both my sonic inputs from my computer Optical S/PDIF without the optical extender cable couplers that I purchased in case these interconnect were too short. This splitter works very well with no perceived signal degradation to either of my target equipment ports.The unit is very well made and is a quality product and well worth the purchase if necessary to split the signal output.

Likes: well made, input cable length reasonable.Dislikes: noneAm using as 2 in 1 out. In this configuration only one device can be used at a time, and other unit must be powered off completely...otherwise no sound.

I am very pleased with the performance of this powered toslink splitter. It improved the overall sound quality quite noticably, which I did not expect. Maybe it lowers jitter.
