These rings are so useful for tons of different projects. My wife is a teacher and used them to make a special set of sheet music for one of her students with severe vision impairment.

Strong, durable, and they close firmly. The ends of the ring are slightly spring-loaded away from each other, so when you connect them, it takes a bit of effort and they stay together strongly. I used them to bind a bunch of pages together so I could fold them over and lay them flat to write on them, and it works great. This is basically impossible with a normal binder because all the pages that get folded over end up bent and become annoying to write on. But with these rings, it's not quite as structurally stiff as a normal binder, but the folding over is amazing. And with 100 in the pack, I could make chainmail if I wanted! Well, maybe a chainmail napkin, but still!

I got these so that I could put several small signs together and flip through them to change the message. They work well enough for this purpose, but I really think they are better suited for just recipe cards or as notebook binders or perhaps for crafting. The metal is not very strong, and the clasp can come loose without much stress. This is a get what you pay for item.

The container is a bit flimsy so some of the rings were floating around in the packaging. The rings are stiff to open, which makes them great so kids don’t take apart their flashcards rings. I like that you get a lot for a decent price. These will last. We also used them to make flip books. I would recommend these, especially for teachers in classrooms looking for bulk.

These all came in the plastic box, but the plastic box was shattered a little and so I ended up grouping the rings into sets of 10. Instead of 120, I actually received 140 in the box. This is a good value for this many rings which I plan to split and use for flash card groups. My one beef with these is that some rings are fine to open, but some rings were actually hard to open up and the joint was stiff to open. So while this is a good value, the box is flimsy and the ring joints / hinge can be stiff or the teeth hard to open. This was not true for all the rings, most of the rings were fine. Once you get one of the stiff rings open, it becomes easier as you open and close it.

These rings are very sturdy, and slimmer than most binder rings--just a little over 1/16" thick. They are easy to open, but snap securely shut. The price is reasonable for 100 count. I can see all kinds of uses for them: to hold keys, flash cards, recipes. I got them to hold small, illustrated flip charts together that will be used to teach song lyrics to young children. They come in a plastic box that closes tightly enough to not open and spill. In addition, the box arrived enclosed in a sturdy zip lock bag for extra security. I probably won't need any more for a while, with 100 count, but I would buy them again if I did.
