bought these to hold my tilt front end down on my 73 Dodge D100. I've tried quite a few different ways of holding it down and I've settled on these. I use 4 across the top of the hood and 1 each on the bottom of the fenders. None of the Orings have broke and as far as stretching, make sure you mount them far enough apart for slight stretching. That look pretty since the truck is orange. The Orings go on and off easily but yet stay on no matter how fast I go or bumps I hit.
