I got it for free with one of OrcaTorch’s lights. It is just like any other bolt snap. I do like the fact it really is stainless steel and not the cheap zinc or brass that looks horrible after a bit.It functions easily just like it should. I decided to use it on my keys since I already have a bunch of others and didn’t like the double ender I was using. My only recommendation would be for OrcaTorch to put there logo on it to make it stand out more.

Seems to be decently built; haven't noticed any rust or corrosion yet. The gate is typical width for this size bolt snap, though a little narrower. That may be a plus if you're attaching it to a BCD D-ring where it'll flop a little less, just don't try to stuff it on a 1/2" thickness anchor chain link.

I've taken this diving in salt water over 10 trips so far and with fresh water rinsing after each trip this bolt snap is still in great condition. The springs functions well, have not had the need to grease it yet. Will see how it performs this coming year two.

First impression is pretty much that you get what you pay for. Cheap packaging that allowed one of them to be out of the box(but still in amazon bag) prior to receiving. Not much weight to them but spring feels like it will hold together well. Not sure how well these will work with a 5mil glove but we will give them a try and update after use. 3 star is based only on first impression and will adjust after update.

Works great! I purchased this to use with my thumb spool for diving. Great quality for a great price! I would definitely recommend-this size is great-not too small to mess with in the water with gloves!

As a scuba diver I use this product to attach various things to my BCD. With the marine grade metal, there is no rust or erosion. Perfect for use in salt water!
