First was told this was ULPA on its own and vac eould be ULPA, then that id need the next filter too.No instructions... Firmly gently/slowly lift straight up while motor is upside down in lap. Can rotate to refuce friction since smooth round. Was less impressed before it took me a while to figure for sure how to get it's stubborn self off.I dont look forward to chsnging this filter, yet I feel good it wont leak air!Whole vac has sub par instructions, lacks documentation i expected for ULPA, but it was the most affordable, even after the separate filters to upgrade from HEPA.
