got this for an Oreck upright. the original had a top piece that kept the outer bag in place, this one does not. So far it seems to be working fine. Hopefully it will last as long as the original!

My husband’s father died and we kept his Oreck XL vacuum cleaner. The outer fabric bag kept filling with debris. After thoroughly cleaning it and investigating, I discovered it was missing a bag dock. This one fit and now the inner bags stay put.

I did not receive the blue one as pictured. I received a white one. Didn't fit my bags exactly. Had to make a cut in the cardboard of the bag to make it work. Not the end of the world but I expected it to be correct.

WARNING! This bag dock ONLY fits the new-style bags! If you have any old Oreck bags (the ones whose part numbers begin with "CCPK" and are sold in a plastic bag), be aware that you CANNOT use them with this bag dock! This bag dock will ONLY work with the new bags sold after 2015 or so - the new ones whose part numbers begin with "AK1CC" and are sold in a cardboard box. This is because they changed the shape of the keys - the protrusions on the dock that engage two small slots on the cardboard collar of the bags to help hold the bag in place. The old docks (like the blue dock that, as I write this, is shown on this listing) has one key in a vertical orientation and one in a horizontal orientation. However, this new-style dock has both keys in the vertical position, which prevents older bags from fitting without modification.If you only buy the new-style bags from Oreck, this bag dock will work absolutely fine for you. However, if you're looking for a bag dock that works with *ANY* Oreck CC bag, both new and old, this isn't the part you're looking for.This one-star rating is due to the picture not matching the item received.
