I am very pleased with the pattern and am in the process of starting the cross-stitching Somehow ,I think if you had also supplied the floss as in other patterns ,would be a great help as there are so many different short pieces required and rather a lot to have to purchase each one .So a dive into the sewing box to try and find enough close enough to your instructions hopefully. Thankyou ,I'm sure it will be great when finished .

This Victorian Halloween Witch, Fire, Cauldron and Black Cat counted cross stitch pattern and chart are terrific. This pattern is for 14 count aida cloth. It is recommended to stitch using 2 strands of floss. They even suggest using a #24 or #26 needle for achieving the best results. The color chart included is for using DMC Embroidery Floss all colors for the diagram are listed as well as the quantity required. This particular pattern lists 45 different colors, most requiring only 1 skein. Two floss cards are included with enough spaces for all floss colors, providing a place for sorting and storing floss while stitching. Pattern is made by using full cross stitch only - no quarter or half stitches. Backstitching is an option. The printed diagram is in black and white only. Symbols appear clear. Diagram pages are of a good size. A border pattern is included but is optional. Finished size of this piece is 14 x 10 inches, 196 x 140 stitches.I noted on an enclosed card, which looks like a color post card, that Orenco Originals will make personalize any of their patterns for you for FREE. This includes:1. Simplifying the pattern by decreasing the number of colors of DMC floss from 25-20.2. Re-charting the pattern to a different thread or fabric count other than 14.3. Re-charting for size measurements larger or smaller.I contacted them and had my pattern re-charted for 'counted' needlepoint on 18 mesh canvas. It looks great.This is a first of this type of cross stitch for me. I've only previously worked with needlepoint and pre-printed canvas/fabric. There are instructions as well which seem straight forward. I'm encouraged this will not be an impossible challenge. This company is great to deal with. Shipping is super fast.

For the money it could have been a colored pattern rather than just black on white.I do like the two sizes, getting older so the larger size is very welcome.

The way this pattern arrives is great. One great big one, for easier stitching and one smaller one for easyhandling, and the big pattern is great on the eyes!!!! Very happy with this. For a more advanced (cross-stitcherperhaps). But no outlining or 1/2 stitches, just like they say, might make it easier for any stitcher. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE

I really like the old style Halloween cards and art and to be able to cross stitch the images is a treat for me. I love little black cats and this is so cute........................
