Using the ORICO Portable Protection Case for External SSD Hard Drive for the ORICO 2TB External SSD Up to 2000MB/s Portable Solid State Drive is not really needed as the SSD already comes with a clear protective cover and is about 4-5 times thinner than with the case.I have this case as part of a bundle deal with the SSD so this is just an extra bonus and I’m glad ORICO gave that option but unless you need a case for both the SSD and cables.
