Happy with product overall. USB-A to USB-A cable is a bit odd and limits options. Also, the clamping sizes expressed in the diagram are accurate but the image showing it clamped to the side of a desk grossly oversells the actual capabilities. Will not clamp any desk much larger than 1 inch in thickness.

Just the thing I needed. Most of my usb cord aren’t that long enough, and it also helps out with some cable management issues that I needed to fix great product no issues works extremely well. Plug and play no drivers needed. Now I have extra USB slots if I need in the future as well

I ordered 1 for my bench workstation in my lab, Pi5 bolted to the back of the monitor. Had a single 1/2 of a golf ball weighted USB extension dubebily boba thingy floating around on the bench. So can plug a thumb drive in or what ever without reaching around to the back of the monitor to get to the PIAnnoying.Saw this , thought great, instead of 1, have 4 usb ports. And clamp it to the side of the monitor. GREAT.IT is as advertised, but my older monitor is too thick.I had some U channel laying around, hacked off a piece and using black RTV, glued/RTVed the section of U to the top of the monitor, next day, bob's your uncle, could clamp this on well and securely.Worked great.I see others are clamping it to metal frames of desks and such, only one showing it on the end of a monitor.Ordered a 2nd one for my workstation on my office. The nice shiny slick plastic, the tighter you make the clamp, the more is slides off , slowly. The foamy rubbery gobblely gook on the hub just doesn't adhere to the slick plastic. Not enough stiction. There seems to be a minor taper to the plastic case on the monitors too, make sense for molding. And the plastic isn't as firm as the metal, has give.Just can't hold. No stiction from the foamy parts. So cleaned it all with IPA, took out the black RTV again, RTV the darn thing to the bottom end of the main monitor. Tighten the clamp slightly, also stacked some of my business cards (good for something) under it to help use the weight of the monitor to hold the usb port module up and against the bottom edge of the monitor frame. It Adhered well over night, now in service. Very slim. And no usb hubs floating around on the desk or work bench. But needed RTV to implement.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to try to minimize how many cables I had running to the back of my PC since they’re almost all gaming related. This was the answer to that. Insanely easy setup. Mount it where you want it on your desk and then plug it in. The quality is impeccable. It works great. I haven’t had a single connection issue yet. The price is fair. The cable it comes with isn’t the longest, so that could be an issue for some. I’d buy again if I find the need for more USB’s on top.

Se conecta por usab A y es ideal para tener puertos USB extra su diseño es diferente los hub normales pero con su agarre es adecuado para ponerlo debajo del escritorio, en la pantalla, en una silla o algo donde se pueda sujetar

Mounted a mini pc under the desk and wanted more USB access. Tried this and mounted it next to the mini pc facing down as it is on the front lip of the desk and I didnt want the wires sticking up vertically and getting in the way. Works perfectly and looks clean as well. So far I am very pleased with it and would recommend. I have not tested any throughput or anything like that.

The ORICO USB 3.0 hub clamp 4-Port USB splitter with 4.92 FT USB data cable was easy to clamp onto my desk, and with the nearly 5ft data cable I found it easy to mount the hub in a variety of possible places without needing to buy a USB extension cable. Once clamped in place, the USB hub is sturdy and easy to use. Eliminates the annoying issue of having to hold down a standard USB block hub in order to pull out a USB cable, and the minimal desktop footprint of the clamp on hub frees up valuable desktop space for other uses.My only complaint with the product is that I wish they produced a larger version with say up to 10 ports. I bought multiple 4 port hubs, but then I have to use multiple USB ports on my computer to attach the hubs, or I have to daisy chain the hubs together. One larger hub would be nice. Still, the product is great, and hopefully, the company will consider producing larger versions in the future. Highly recommend if you are looking for a simple easy to use space saving USB 3.0 hub.

I was hoping the Type C to A connection will be working by now but I’m very disappointed that it is still NOT working. My Dell laptop has only 2 Type C ports and was hoping this hub can solve my USB needs… The Type A to A connection is working fine. DO NOT buy if your laptop has only USB C port.
