This has been such a Godsend, that I should have bought 2. It allows you to convert one USB port on your computer to three. I like that arithmetic. I just wish I had bought a second one.

The cord length is a little short. But that could be a con or a pro, depending on who you ask. I bought this to keep the desk clean, so the wires aren't spread around, and are connected to 1 common hub. All the ports work fine and there is a blue light that lights up, to confirm that the hub is indeed connected. The packaging was very good as well. Highly recommend.

Works great, especially for under $10, I bought the Ethernet model,It's still technically a 4-port usb3 hub (RTS5411 Hub), internallyBut It trades off one of the usb ports, So you get 3 USB3.0 ports and a gigabit Ethernet jack.Linux reports this as a Realtek RTL8153 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (ID 0bda:8153)The Ethernet port should be supported on most OS's, and even works on android, but is NOT supported on some gaming devices such as the wiiu/ Nintendo Switch, sadlyI've only tested this when connected via USB3, I ran multiple speed tests, and download speeds came out constantly notably slower than pointblank wifi, but it still works well enough for the price, and I have so far not had any dropped connection issues.For the price I'd say this is a win, but since the Ethernet us using up one of the hubs ports, it's possible to run into bottleknecks when downloading to an attached USB device that may slow speeds further

This simple unit did the trick. 4 vs 1 is perfect. Not too cluttered but enough. I keep my laptop raised for posture. A bit longer cord is my only suggestion
