The kit has everything you need, but the instructions for every single bookmark is printed on one tiny page. A lot of the shades are very similar in order to create shading, and it's really difficult to determine which colors are of what shade. This could be very easily resolved with a larger guide, possibly a booklet, that uses symbols to designate specific colors.

This set of 6 Stamped Cross Stitch Bookmarks with Backing Felt from ORIGACH is absolutely NOT for beginners! I have been cross-stitching for almost 50 years and I know what I'm looking at!The printing is fine and lined up well on these pieces and they give you actual real embroidery floss (altho not DMC), but the needles are wrong...they are sharp instead of blunt but they are useable and they give you 6 of them...and the scissors are absolute crap, I threw them away.There are no instructions included on how to cross-stitch or even how many threads to load into the needle! This last part is important because 6 strand floss is usually separated and 2 strands are threaded into your needle but 2 may not give you good coverage of your fabric in some cases. 3 strands might be needed to give you nice solid cohesive coverage but you might run out of thread and the numbers they have tagged their thread with do not correspond to DMC, so you cannot easily buy more if you run out.If you are tempted to start cross-stitching using this kit, there are many good resources for beginners online that will explain everything you need to know.

These bookmarks will make great gifts for kids. I work in the library and we like to give them prizes when they've done really great in class. These are something the kids would absolutely enjoy. It was also really fun for me to make for them!Right now space is really in so the kids are going to absolutely love the way they look to.

These bookmarks are simply beautiful. They are great for beginner cross-stitchers. Whether you like stamped cross-stitch or counted cross-stitch, these are perfect for you! You get 6 bookmarks, more than enough floss, several needles, a needle threader, and a pair of scissors. You also get directions. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!
