I loved the fairy tale gate die, but it isn't cutting well with my machine. All the other dies in the set seem to cut better - maybe they are a little thicker. The gate is so pretty, I'll keep experimenting with my layering sandwich to try to get it to work.

Three of the four dies cut through completely, although they require a few extra passes through the big shot. The fourth one, no matter how many passes, even while shimmed, would not cut through at all points. Sure, I could have scissor-cut the rest, but ... that's why I buy die cuts ... to do away with fussy-cutting. I might add ... the 3 that do cut are beautiful !

I am currently doing several Oriental-themed greeting cards and I wanted to find dies, stamps, paper stock and Washi tape that complimented each other. These dies are perfect for card-making. The dies will fit on a 4x5 card, but a larger size card is preferable as the dies are larger. The cuts are clean although the circles are a little bit hard to remove from the metal die. However, I didn't find this to be an issue. Amazon also sells oriental paper stock. I purchased their Far East Stack which is 12x12. The photo of the crane uses the crane die and one of the sheets from The Far East paper stock stack. Amazon also sells a beautiful set of oriental-themed stamps. They also have a set of oriental-themed Washi tape which is perfect for embellishing the cards. Using the dies, stamps, paper stock and Washi tape, you can create a stunning set of oriental greeting cards for all occasions.

Four ocean themed dies arrived well packaged to avoid any bending of the metal. These are perfect die cuts for making beautiful themed cards. I ran it through my big shot and it came out perfect.
