These fit perfectly over my new Jagwire 5mm brake cable housing. Feel sturdy and look nice and elegant. Happy with them so far.

I ordered the 5mm for brake cables (without ferrules). What I received will not fit a brake cable and will not fit an index shift cable (with ferrule). It will fit an index shift cable without a ferrule but fits it loosely enough you would want a ferrule (and it won't fit with one). Maybe I was shipped the 4mm version instead of what I ordered. Even so, if you need a 4mm for index shift cables, this does not even fit those well. I generally like this brand for value to performance ratio but this particular product I am not at all impressed by.
