This product is to wrap a brake line around a defined curve. But if the curve you need is different, and you need to tweak it just a bit . . . Don't. Do. It! My aluminum tube was crimped and unusable within 5 minutes of opening the package. This component never got onto my bike, so...wasted purchase. But if you needed it exactly in this shape, I could see it working well for you.

Installed easily. It's a bit longer than a typical noodle, so if you don't cut down your cable housing, the excess housing length might be mildly annoying.

This cable noodle gives you the ability to fine tune your linear pull brakes. I have a cyclocross style setup on my bike and this works perfectly.

Works very good with my bike breaks

Bought a pair of these noodles to adapt my Tektro mini V-brakes on my cyclocross bike which originally came with cantilever brakes. The cable noodles come with a tiny barrel adjuster to tighten or loosen the brakes. So far they have worked flawlessly and would buy these again. Installation was relatively easy and straight forward.

Nice way to adjust my V-brakes since i am using long pull road levers with no adjuster

Works OK for me. I used this when switching my folding bike from an ATB style flat bar to a moustache style bar; the problem is that road style bars have a larger diameter, so I had to replace the levers, too. I didn't notice until I got them home that the levers don't have an adjustment barrel, so I got these. They don't give much adjustment range compared lever mounted adjustment barrels (this the one star deduction), so if you're the type of rider who typically backs out his cable adjustment barrels all the way these aren't for you; or maybe they are if you use them in addition to lever mounted adjusters. I'm the type of rider who frequently adjusts the cable using an allen key, so these work for me to get a few mm of fine adjustment.

Used this to guide a cable of a Versa shifter in the presence of a handlebar bag.Serves its purpose well and furthermore it allows to adjust cable tension.

These are cheap and they work well, with just a couple of quirks. In my experience this is par for the course with Origin8 products. The hole in the barrel where the cable housing goes is too large to safely go without using an end cap, yet it's too small to fit an end cap. I drill mine out to accept end caps, better safe than sorry. The Jagwire Ripcord compressionless housing I prefer is notorious for splitting unless Jagwire's tight-fitting cable ends (Point of Power, "POP") are used. Usually on a steep downhill. You can get by with a tight-fitting cable stop, but the ones on these noodles are about a mm too big for that. The ridge on the nipple end of the noodle is small and, for some reason, rounded, causing me some concern about it pulling through the hole in the arm link during hard braking. And the nipple itself is over 1mm longer than most others I've seen, making it difficult to quick-release the noodle. If you keep using the included noodle (I'll explain below) better back out the barrel adjuster a couple of mm when installing, so you can make make enough slack to use the quick release. Clear as mud? With a bit of fiddling you can disassemble these and use just the barrel adjuster bit on different noodles. I've used them on Shimano, Tektro and Avid noodles so far, I expect they'd work on just about any others as well. You should be able to figure out how to do this on your own...and if you can't, then you probably shouldn't try it. Don't sue me if you break your neck, you were warned.
