Can you find other brands of chargers claiming put out 100 watts? Yes indeed. Do they actually put out that amount? Who knows? And do they charge your batteries safely? Again, who knows? I am not one to get trapped into buying name brand accessories simply to be a fan boy, but there are instances when buying the manufacturer's recommended product is warranted and wise. Buying a charger to charge your lithium batteries is one of those times when it pays to use the brand name. Do a quick search to see videos of fires started by improperly charged or damaged lithium batteries and I am sure you will agree. This charger has two output ports and will charge your batteries without over charging them or causing damage. It will also charge them as quickly as safely possible. Remember, charging lithium batteries too fast can damage them and/or shorten their life cycles. So if you want to save a few bucks by purchasing a unknown maker's product over the brand name, do it on something else, not the charger!
