This PHO Brand bulb was an exact fit for my TV. I didn't have any issues, the bulb and cage that it came with slid right in to place. I had not experienced any issues at all with the removal of the blown out bulb, nor replacing it with this new PHO Brand bulb. The only thing that I had an issue with was the first few hours of running the TV after installing this bulb. For some odd reason, it seemed to put off a very strong electronics smell. But after turning off the TV after a few hours of running, the smell did not reappear. Picture is as good as it once was. I too have made the mistake of purchasing a very expensive replacement bulb from the manufacturer, just to have it blow out a week after the 30 day warranty. A great bulb at a great price, this bulb does the job...

This is the second time in 10 years owning my DLP TV that I need a lamp change. The process and replacement was easy last time. This lamp did not slide in properly and click in. Tried patiently for an hour. Nothing. Could take my old lamp in and out, clicking in every time. This one would not line up at all. Thankfully the return policy was quick and easy. I'm trying again after ordering from the same third party. Crossing my fingers. If that one fails, I'll return and try somewhere else.Should be quite easy. It was before.
