We use this food for our ferret, he's an old man now and this is a great option for healthy food for him. If you are still using run of the mill cat food I would definitely recommend switching to something more like this brand as It's much healthier for your furry little friends!

My cats weren't crazy about the taste at first but I eased into it by mixing it with their other foods for about a month, upping the volume with each mix. Now I'll give them a few morsels as treats and they love the taste. It smells a bit like a horse pasture but it's not unpleasant, just a very organic, open wheat field aroma. I'm a little concerned about the chicken being raw but I'm confident the company will always test their sources and avoid anything that could be harmful. I will buy again once this bag is finished.

I switched my cat to wet food a while ago and she got to a perfectly healthy 10.4lbs. She got out the house and was gone for about a week and when she came back she had lost some weight. I haven’t been able to get her weight back up with wet food alone because upping her serving was just making her sick. When she was on dry food she was super fat so i figured incorporating dry food into her diet again would help get her weight up again without upsetting her tummy because i would need less dry food to get her into a calorie surplus. I didn’t want to feed her just any food and although it’s expensive as hell i decided on this one. She’s tearing it up as I’m typing this lmao she loves it. She dove into the kibble first even tho i put her wet and dry food down at the same time. I’m using this food supplementarily so hopefully it’ll last a while before i have to buy more.

Saki the spoiled Siamese loves her dry crunchy kibble but she now loves this more than Tiki Cat. Amazon was out of her fish flavor so I did some research and found this cat food to be rated equally as good. I decided to try their chicken since the price was comparable and the first 4 ingredients in this product are meat products. Surprisingly their is also turkey meal and menhaden fish meal in the chicken recipe. The named fish meal is a great source of nutrients and omega fats. The protein content is 41%. All wholesome ingredients with no grain, potato, corn, soy or wheat. Nor does it contain artificial colors or preservatives. I like that it contains taurine for heart health and cranberries for urinary track health. Saki loves freeze dried turkey and it’s the 3rd listed meat. Instinct crushes and tumbles their freeze dried raw with their kibble, ensuring each piece contains a touch of raw coated food which they believe that real less processed whole raw foods the better. Saki has been eating this for a week and picks out this kibble from the mixed in Tiki Cat. The only ingredient I read anything controversial about was tapioca which has a high sugar content, but it’s a good grain substitute not known to cause allergies in pets. Cats are carnivores and this product is loaded with meat content. We have fed our Golden Instinct dog food and the Instinct brand rates very high by the animal review companies. It’s priced higher than some but not outrageous. Better quality food and ingredients will always cost more. You get what you pay for here. Highly recommend even if it’s just to switch brands occasionally for variety. Just be aware of the other non chicken meals if your cat has any food sensitivities or allergies.
