I was able to use out-of-the-box adapters for Mazda and Toyota. The two universal adapters make this kit more compatible. For an Acura, I was able to use one of the universal adapters. I have not checked my BMW yet as I have to take some panels off. BMW is listed as compatible.The adapters are well made. Some adapters are hard plastic and some are steel. Steel, male, quick-connects are on all of them. The o-rings or rubber gaskets sealed in my applications. Quick-connect compatibility is with the Ares 70921 which is readily available and highly rated. It's not a standard air hose quick coupler. It should go without saying that a separate brake fluid pressure bleeder is required.The storage/carrying case keeps everything organized and the adapter slots are labeled. The chain, hooks, and plates are in a bag and I had to organize it in the bag and stash it along the top of the rectangular adapter to fit it all in the case. An instruction/guide pamphlet is included in a plastic bag.It's a nice set *if* your cars are listed as compatible. It may be the only set you need.

These adapters are needed for attaching to brake master cylinders. There's plenty of adapters to fit most caps. There's even some universal ones that attach with little chains.One super important thing to mention: You NEED to match your pressure bleeding tool's fittings to these. If your tool does not use these fittings, THEY WILL NOT WORK.The only thing that I don't like is that there's nowhere to put the hardware for the large rectangular adapter. The hardware comes in a ziplock plastic bag that's just thrown in the case.The rest of the adapters do have a place.

Recently flushed the brake fluid on my sisters 2005 Subaru Outback LL Bean using the adapter providedI had to change the quick connect fitting on my bleeder, but that was a simple fix.The Subaru adapter fit very well, creating a very tight seal. I had issues getting it on, but it did not leak at 20psi.I truthfully purchased this kit for the early GM large plate adapter and the universal adapters. They seem very well thought out, however I haven't had the chance to use them.The plastic container seems to have had parts thrown in as a last minute thought. The universal adapter hardware & large GM adapter hardware is just tossed into a cheaply made plastic baggy closed into the container.
