Prendre les mesures très précisément car la notice donné enexemple par le fournisseur n'est pas prévue pour mon type de valise.Donc l'installation a été un peu plus compliquée, Mais une fois les axes correctement installé dans les anciens supports de roues, deux tours de clé et c'était réglé.Ma valise roule bien , et cette réparation m'a fais économiser plusieurs dizaines d'euros de réparation chez le fabricant.Je surveillerai comment les roues vieillissent, et si elles sont d'assez bonnes qualité pour survivre aux aléas des aéroports.

Roll silently and effortlessly compared to the original rubber coated wheels, can’t say much for longevity yet. I did add a few drops of skateboard oil though to supplement whatever grease was already in there.They are shiny black but look similar enough to OEM wheels.Victorinox offers lifetime warranty replacement (I called and had replacements sent a few years back), but I think the rubber they use can’t really withstand the “abuse” I give them on sidewalks and they degrade with age. Had the rubber shred and ended up clicking my way through the airports home on a plastic hub. Factory wheels seem to only last about 5 years.I would expect these polyurethane (rip-stick / rollerblade) wheels to last much longer.Slightly larger than original 80mm but 84mm still fit in well with clearance, leaving more life for wear.Thinner than original wheel, so you will need a couple of washers on each side of each wheel to act as spacers.Easy to install using some scotch tape to position the washers and hex key for alignment. Clean the old blue loctite off and add some new if you want some extra security, but note that the wheel on the handle side is reverse threaded, axle bolts essentially self-tighten when bag is pulled along. The hex keys provided actually fit the Victorinox OEM bolts, and they are short enough to pass TSA guidelines, so I guess you could probably keep one in your bag for just in case if you skip on the new loctite.

The wheels on our large Samsonite luggage had broken. I had contacted Samsonite but COVID had just hit and communicating with them was impossible. I saw a UTube video of a lady that used roller blade wheels to replace her luggage wheels. I found these and they worked perfectly.

My Eddie Bauer suitcase has been everywhere, except Antarctica, and still looks almost new. It finally blew a wheel and I decided to replace it. Here's what you need to know. Order the 84mm x 24mm with the 8mm axel opening. Unzip the bottom liner of the suitcase to access the wheel assemblies. Drill out the rivets, three for each wheel and remove the Phillips head screws to allow the assembly to come loose from the luggage. Use a #4 Allyn wrench to unscrew the axel. Replace the wheel, if you wish to show your work to friends you can add a nylon washer to each side of the wheel to show you thought of everything, I did not and it works great. Use #10-32 x 3/4 inch flat head bolts with nylon locking nuts to replace the rivets. Put the screws back in place and you are ready for your next trip. Less than $10 and twenty minutes per wheel. Better than new.

Instructions were complete if brief. The replacement wheels and axles fit well. It would have been nice to include 8 washers instead of 4 to reduce wobble with the new wheels.

I use for a month, all ok till now. I replased my luggage plastic wheels due noise. This one is soft material, which makes it quiet. It looks medium quality, but is good for the price. Installation is easy and it is fixed properly. Do not tight them too much, othervise bearings will be under stress and movement of the wheels will be little hard. Overall is good, quiet, fixes properly with bolts included in the package
