The XS fits more like a Small. I am 5'4" 115 lbs and typically wear a Small in jackets if I want to layer more but an XS for a more fitted look. Based on the style of this coat, I wanted a dressier, fitted look unfortunately, there is no XXS offered.The coat has very stiff elastic cords inside the waist which I pulled tight to give it a more tailored look. HOWEVER, the stiff elastic cords now stick straight out after cinching them tight preventing me from wearing the coat unzipped without the cords poking out.
