I am legally blind. These were easy to install and after the strings were finished stretching, they stayed in tune

If you're looking at these and questioning if they're flimsy or poor replacement tuners just because they're inexpensive, I can tell you that they've been functioning beyond what I paid for them. They're most definitely worth the price. I work as a pro luthier/repair tech and I took a chance on these for one of my own F-styles because they had to be gold, and I didn't need to spend hundreds for tuners. Turns out they worked fine.I've had them on an instrument now for about a year (so that's several sets of strings and varying humidity changes) and I would even use them for another mandolin. Now I WAS going to get them to replace tuners on another one of my Washburn M3SW's, but after ordering for some reason, it said they this other set wouldn't arrive for several months? I had to cancel the order. I like the other ones I got but would have rather gotten THIS model/brand.Unless you're replacing tuners on something like a $7G Gibson, Weber, Collings (or similar), you'll probably have no issues with these. mandolins with ANY tuners have tuning issues because of the nature of the instrument anyway, and these don't seem to be any different really than inexpensive Grovers or Gotohs. I have those on other F mandolins and the tuning stability is about the same. Most mass-produced F-styles with similar machine heads are going to have the same standard measurement for screw holes and they should line up perfectly with like 90% of the instruments they'll be purchased for. The way they're constructed I'll bet they're not as consistent as more expensive Waverly's so some sets might feel a tiny bit tighter or looser--I'd guess, but I'd say they're as good of an inexpensive replacement as you'll ever find at this price.

Used it to replace the corroded tuners on an f5 mandolin. They perform well, were easy to install and are smooth and stay in tune
