Wore this in wet weather and never had water felt on my socks. This is a winner. If you have wide feed do choose the wide version it works better.

I really wanted these shoes to work for me. I tried both women’s and men’s sizes trying to find the right fit. I have Morten Toes. All of my toes except my pinky toe are about as long or longer than my big toe. In the women’s wide my toes were scraping the side. I finally found, that a men’s 8.25 would be the perfect size, if it existed. I could wear an 8 or 8.5. However, the neck of the shoe at the top lacing area bit into my ankle bone. I don’t have big ankles. I tried wearing them around the house to see if it would let up. It became clear than even if I broke them in, they would still be digging into my ankle bone. Bummer. I love they adjustable support system in the shoe. The shoe really cushions every step. The hiking sneakers have a lot more sole between your foot and the ground than in their regular sneaker. I have a bad knee, so I wanted the extra cushioning for regular walking. I hope that they will redesign the lacing and neck of the hiking sneakers so they don’t bite into the ankle bone for a future version.

Wonderful winter shoe. Nice grippy sole for water and snow, and waterproof too. Attractive color.
