For reference as it can be a bit confusing this is more to COOL the seat than the individual. When running errands you would leave this on a stroller or whatever seat really and if your vehicle is sitting out in the hot sun or your stroller is, this will keep it more of an OPTIMAL temperature, whenever someone is ready to use it ideally you're best to MOVE this out of the way. This is NOT for direct use or at least it seems to imply its not but honestly I find it nice and relaxing for my back after it sits out a bit otherwise it gets a bit "blocky" and just not all that comfortable to sit on. Functionally it is NOT how you would expect to use it, but when you realize HOW to use it its quite convenient!

This Orzbow carseat and stroller cooling pad is my favorite one yet. It's great for getting those scalding carseats down to a safer temp for my kiddo, and it helps to cool his stroller off after it's been stuck in the sun for a bit.It's easy to use. Just freeze this pad before hand, put it on the carseat for a bit, then store it in the insulated baggy and take it with you for another round of cooling on the return trip. Well worth it, in my opinion.This is the largest cooling pad of its type that I have tried, and it definitely fits my kiddo's larger/taller carseat all the way down to where his legs hang. There are elastic straps on the back to make sure it stays upright in the seat where you need it, and It definitely works well at getting his carseat or stroller cool enough to be comfortable for him.This is much better than another carseat cooler I have tried that used water filled icepacks. This one is much more portable. It's easier to freeze, store, and carry with me to keep things cool again on the return trip home (thanks to the provided insulated carrying bag it comes with). The water-based ice one had to stay in the car and cook, making it useless for coming home. It was only good for cooling the carseat on the way to errands, and it produced a lot more condensation on the seat while cooling. This Orzbow pad doesn't have any of those issues.This cooling pad is also bigger than other gel based cooling pads I have tried in the past, and it fits much better in his bigger carseat and larger stroller. The others seemed more designed for smaller carseats and younger kids.In the southern summer, this is a must-have. I'm really happy with this product.

I recently received the Car Seat Cooling Pad with Insulated Bag and although it is marketed for car seats, I find it incredibly useful for many other situations. I can use it to keep the stroller cool before taking the kids I babysit for on walks, and great for beach days, especially for laying in their pack and play to help keep them cooler when the sun is strong. It does work very well in car seats, which is what it is originally intended for, and it really makes a difference in preventing that uncomfortable hot and sweaty feeling that babies often experience during warm weather. The insulated bag that comes with it is a smart touch and helps maintain the cooling temperature so I do not have to rush to use it immediately. It is easy to carry and store, and it is designed well enough that it fits in most setups without a struggle. I think this is one of those items that once you have it, you realize just how handy and practical it really is. It would make a thoughtful gift for new parents or anyone living in a warmer climate, especially since it is not something most people think to put on their registry but would definitely use. The construction feels solid and safe for babies and toddlers, and I like that I can just slip it in and out as needed. I feel this adds a level of comfort for little ones that can make a big difference in how calm and happy they stay while strapped in. I am very pleased with this and would definitely recommend it.

WOW. For someone who recently moved to one of the most unsavory climates in the US (we live in the deep south), I REALLY appreciate that someone invented this, and decided to take such incredible care in the craftsmanship of it. This foldable ice-pack car seat cooler functions as intended, if not better than intended! There are elastic straps to secure around the top of the car seat, and they help keep it in place while it's cooling down the seat for baby.Just a few notes: please leave this in your car for 5-10 minutes before placing your baby in the seat, and never place your child on top of the cooling pack; remove before buckling in your child. The ice pack will cool the seat down to a comfortable temperature without making the seat damp.I appreciate that when folded the pack doesn't overcrowd our freezer. It fits into its carry bag with ease, even after freezing. We used this to travel over to our family's house for dinner, stored it in the bag while we visited, and about 3 hours later when we left, the ice pack was ready to use a second time for our drive home! Even without re-freezing!I believe that this product is definitely worth its $29.99 price tag - and I would recommend this to any families living in hot/humid/desert-like climates. Sometimes just waiting for the AC to cool down the car isn't enough (and takes too long). This product solves that problem!My husband also likes to use it on the driver's seat for himself when he isn't traveling with our daughter. I think this might just be a win all-around for the entire family.
