Since December 1, 1999, OSHA standards require forklift training and certification for any employee who operates a powered industrial truck.
OSHA itself does not conduct training or certify forklift operators. This is the responsibility of the employer. Operators who have had a near miss, an accident or seen doing unsafe acts are required to undergo refresher forklift training. Employers also have obligations regarding temporary employees.
OSHA can impose a $7,000 fine for each untrained operator (up to $70,000 fine for willful violations)

The pricing on Amazon was very good. The Train the trainer combined with operator training material was what we were looking for. The material allow us to follow OSHA prescribed course requirements and train and review our operators with a legal in-house program.The reason for five stars was for two reasons. First, a quick shipping of item after purchase, and a well put together product material in a specific binder format.Second, their was a problem with the program material on the included flash drive that was missing. However, one email on a Saturday requesting assistance resulted in immediate action on Monday by FLC. They sent the missing digital information to us in a series of emails and even sent another complete flash drive and their expense.That type of service these days by an on-line supplier is out-standing!

I just received my kit 3 days ago. It looks like it will work for what I need (train a handful of warehouse workers on a forklift in order to be OSHA compliant) however, the "Safe Forklift Operation Principles" disk will not play. I called the number provided, but it went to a voicemail. I then emailed about my issue. It has been 3 days and no one has responded. If they would respond and fix the issue, I would be happy with the purchase.
