Expand your OSI Smart Alarm System Gen 2 effortlessly by adding more OSI Contact Sensors for your doors, windows and patio doors. You can add up to 160 Contact Sensors, Motion Sensors and Wireless Strobe Sirens (as long as all the accessories total 160). No need for complicated wiring—simply stick it on your door or window with the provided adhesive. With this sensor, you can enhance security for all entry points, including your front, garage, and back doors. These Contact Sensors include 2 2450 Coin Batteries which last several years without you needing to replace them as well. They also have screw holes which allow you to screw into the surface of the doorframe that is uneven or where the 3M tape is not able to stick on properly for what ever reason.

Connect these Contact Sensors to the OSI Smart Alarm System (Gen 2) to form an effective standalone Security system for your house, apartment or small business! You can connect up to 160 accessories in total. *accessories include Motion Sensors, Contact Sensors and Wireless Sirens. You can connect as many of each of these accessories as long as it totals 160 pieces.
Versatile Installation
Contact sensors provide flexible installation choices, accommodating various configurations as long as there is a minimum half-inch separation between both sides. The functionality is confirmed when the red light illuminates upon opening or closing the door, indicating proper operation. Screw holes are located on the back of each side of the sensor in case you need to install on an uneven doorframe.
Rapid Response
The OSI Contact Sensor Gen 2 swiftly activates upon door or window opening when the alarm system is armed, triggering the entire security setup. Its rapid response ensures quick detection of unauthorized entry, enhancing overall security effectiveness
Install in minutes!
Step 1: Remove Tabs
Remove back cover of sensor by pressing down and to the side. Then simply remove the 2 plastic tabs.
Step 2: Peel off 3M Backing
Peel off the 3M backing off the back side of the 2 sensor sides.
Step 3: Place on Door/WIndow
Mount either the Contact Sensor on the door or window, and the magnet on the frame, or switch them around.
Easy to Pair / Connect to the OSI Smart Alarm System Gen 2
- Select Connections Settings on Alarm Display
- Select "+" on top corner of screen
- Select Contact Sensor
- Select Mode (typically Away/Home) meaning the sensor will be active when you HOME ARM & AWAY ARM. You can rename the sensor from the Smart Life app.
- Select Pair
- Trigger the Contact Sensor (either place both sides of the contact sensors together or pull apart)

I had been looking at several models for a DIY Home Security system, starting with Abode, Ring and others. When looking at what you get in this package, others just don't compare. It's a super easy installation and the only question that I had regarding the door chime feature was answered within hours by OSI tech support via ticketing. I can tell that they are a smaller company compared to the Rings of this world, but don't be fooled - they have aggressive pricing and the build quality seems spot on (although I've only had this for a few days). At this time, I recommend although I cannot vouch for longevity just yet.
