NOT for an old 2.5L... says it is NO GO CHARLY!!! it will flood you out so bad it may cause a fire.this thing pushed 9 psi (measured on 2 pressure gauges) got it down to 4.5 with a regulator (a lot of extra money) but just pass on this one

Some reviews mentioned that the pump caused flooding because it had 9psi but if you’re carburetor flooded then you need a replacement carburetor

Perfect replacement for my old fuel pump on my 1987 Mercruiser 3.0L. Came with the fuel filter as well.

This pump was 75% cheaper than any other I could find so I was skeptical. Installed this back about 4 months ago on my mercruiser 3.0 took about 20 minutes, I would recommend getting a few feet of new fuel hose rather than mess with the old ones. Have had my boat on the water about a dozen times with no issues (fuel pump wise anyways lol)
