I ordered this 1/2 diffusion filter from brand JJC for my DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro because of the unique, classical analogue effect it provides my videos. While the term "Black Pro Mist" is originally an effect created by the more premium filter brands for professional photography cameras, I think it's a generic term that can be used by any brand, as this filter creates an identical soft focus effect, for a fraction of the cost, for my action camera also.I have no issues with this filter at all, in fact this brand matches the quality both in terms of effect it produces, and also the quality of the aluminum casing and glass itself, I honestly see no difference, and I have always loved this diffuse effect as it allows me to create a more "filmic" look to my images and video.Product is equal in quality to brand names, I will undoubtedly order more effect filters from this brand. 5 stars.

This filter is an easy way to get a softening effect on the action camera without a lot of extra work. The friction fit works perfectly on my Action 4 camera and doesn't feel like it's going to accidentally fall off. The effect is pretty subtle but it is there. The case it comes in is big for the size of the lens and it would have been nicer if it was a bit smaller so as not to take up so much space in my accessory bag. Overall, for the price, I'm happy with it.

It works beautifully during the day at the beach or even when recording something over a glass. It filter out all the glare and I was able to see through the water. The fitting is perfect. It didn’t fall or anything but at the same time very easy to take out or apply. It makes the video a bit darker however, but during the day it works well.
