This Osprey baby carrier is outstanding! It's designed for front-facing or inward-facing carry, or for use as a backpack. It can definitely grow with your child. What I love most about it is that some components are mesh, so it's breathable and cooler in a warmer climate like ours, and also that the baby's hips are well supported. So many carriers seem to just leave baby's legs hanging, while this one actually supports their body in a way that a baby would naturally be carried on a parent's hip. It just seems comfier for the baby. This green is a great unisex color and style that could be worn by a mom or dad, and it's fully adjustable and feels comfortable to wear as a parent. It has a pocket for a phone and keys. It would work well for outdoor activities like hikes, but just as nice to have for grocery store runs and errands when you want to be hands-free. It's all around awesome.

We got this for when my wife watches another woman's baby and we need to go out and walk and such. To be honest it's fantastic compared to the old other brands we used before. It holds the baby's head tightly to her body when they are very young and has a sense of security you get from it. It's very well made and we didn't notice any QA problems or anything. It is also very soft and easy to wear for a pretty long time as we use it to go on walks and such to get the baby some fresh air. It's size is adjustable so it fits my 5'4" wife pretty dead on. Even though it's getting warmer it doesn't feel like it gets too hot for either me or my wife. Over all I think it's an excellent buy especially if you want something that breaths well for both you and the baby but also is comfortable for long periods of time.

I've been a huge fan of Osprey for a long time. Their products are always well thought out and impeccably made. I'm disappointed that their Poco products don't support their lifetime warranty, but I haven't seen any difference in the quality we expect from Osprey. We've used a number of Osprey's larger child carriers so I was happy to see that they now offer one for newborns. Technically, these support a child up to 33 lbs, but I expect you'll find it too small when your child gets over about 25 lbs. This is the standard version of the carrier which is about $15 more than the LT version. It weighs slightly more but also has some minor changes like a slightly more comfortable back panel. I think the extra $15 is worth the price. This is a really great pack and I like the flexibility of options for facing the child in different ways.Overall, I'm happy with the "Osprey Poco Soft Baby Carrier for Newborns".

If your back hurts from carrying your kid, or you find yourself always resting your kid on your hip. Why not try wearing them on your chest or back? This makes things so much easier. Both of your hands are then available and you can see the world. I have used these with all my kids and love them. The only thing I worry about when using them and spreading my kids' legs wide open all day when they are up there, will it affect them long term. I will say I have seen no issues with my kids. The other thing I worried about was overheating. Both you and your kids are not stuck together and on hot days, you both are stuck together. But I found this breathes nicely. So you would not be any hotter with it on, wearing a person than if you were just holding them. Overall, it is a great child holder. It will save your back and actually make it safer carrying your child.

Osprey is known for high quality gear including baby backpack carriers. I was deciding which one to get , and I eventually ordered the poco instead of the light version. The poco has good quality load lifters to ensure the pack weight fits comfortably on my hip. It also has an AirSpeed back panel made of 3D mesh which allows air to flow and keep me cool, especially during the summer. It is easily adjustable on both the torso and the hip. In addition, the POCO includes sunshade side panels that provide great sun protection and allows for a better napping environment. It supports newborn to toddler with three caring positions. It is also one of the most comfortable baby carriers I have owned. Highly recommended!

The Poco baby carrier from Osprey is probably the most solidly built baby carrier that I've ever used. It feels thick and made with high quality materials yet it is also very breathable and used with strong mesh in the places that it matters. Putting my infant in this baby carrier was easy and I really appreciate the straps on both sides that help the care of tighten around my waist. This is the perfect baby carrier for anyone looking to hike or do any kind of outdoor activity without sweating a lot. I think for the cost, it's a bit steep but I think that because how well it works, how durable it feels, and how comfortable it feels to wear, I think the Poco baby carrier is absolutely worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Wow, this product screams quality. Everything seems to be made with the best, durable fabrics, and seams and buckles are ultra sturdy. I got the green color, and I think that even the color looks like a quality custom color. As for use, well, the waist belt, pulled all the way out, just barely goes around my waist, much less where it should be at the top of my hips. I'm a 3X plus size with a 55" waist and 60" hips. Even so, I was impressed at how well the safety tabs kept the waist belt in place as I wriggled my way into it and pulled it past my even larger chest.I had to move on to plan B and have my much smaller niece try it out, and she and I both liked the comfort of the thickly padded waist belt. We felt that it was a little too claustrophobic for her newborn and that a sling would be better for this stage of life, but we're looking forward to seeing it in use once the little one gets a few months older.
