Ideal for removing bearing cups, outer races, and oil seals from blind holes. Upon removal of the internal pulling attachment, the basic slide hammer unit, which has a 5/8–18 threaded end, may be used with various adapters for a multitude of pulling jobs. Reach is 4 inches. Purchased this to remove blind hole taper bearing racer. It is a heavy duty puller. Very impressed with the quality and ease of adjustments. The racer was 4-7/16 dia. had only a 1/8 bite on the edge of racer, the hammer popped it out after 3 hammer slides. Would highly recommend this.
