Tests for: Duty Cycle, Resistance, Capacitance, Diode, Continuity, Frequency, Temperature, Display maximum reading of 4000 counts. Features: range auto/manual, automatic negative polarity indication, automatic zero adjustment, over range indication, low battery symbol, data hold symbol, relative measurement symbol, auto power off. AC/DC voltage - 600V, AC/DC current - 1000A. Wide 32mm clamp opening. Kit includes test leads, temperature probe, soft carry case, and a 9-volt battery.

Para ser una marca de tanto prestigio esperaba que esta pinza amperimetrica tuviera mejor calidad; su carcasa es muy fragil, la iluminacion es muy tenue y la escala del amperaje es verdaderamente incomoda al momento de revisar corrientes parasitas en un auto (esperaba que la lectura me indicara decimas y centesimas pero fue una sorpresa desagradable). No volveria a comprarlo!

Never worked , produt came open and with defects. I gave as a gift and the person that a gave it was embarrassed to tell me . Be careful buying here !!!

It does exactly what I needed it for, which is checking alternator output amperage. The probes feel and look like the cheap ones from harbor freight but they do the job.

Seems to be a quality product at a decent price. I needed an amp meter that could measure DC Amps and I'm not complaining that a multi meter is part of the package. I'm happy.

It was very difficult to get an accurate AMP current reading with the clamp. When back to my old regular Multimeter.The operation of the buttons was totally confusing. Stay with a normal conventional Multimeter.

OTC has a reputation for quality in the automotive world. None the less when found out it was made in China I had great reservations. I called OTC and talked to the warranty department and was told they had several years of sales history with almost no problems. Based on that I purcahsed the unit and after several months with somewhat limited use I am very pleased.
