The tool worked as it’s supposed to. OTC tools are always great quality and function.

The first time using this to remove the pilot bearing one of the hooks broke. I borrowed another one from another garage and completed the job. I wasn't too happy at the quality as it broke too easy.

Super nice puller. Gets in when others can’t. I use only for pilot bearings

This worked perfectly fine. Easiest tool to use to pull a pilot shaft bearing.

Just barely did the job of removing one pilot bearing, after many attempts. The jaws had to be modified to even grip the bearing properly as they were rounded and bent inwards after the first attempt.I am amazed they actually ended up working at all as they ripped apart the bearing and would not grip the race.I expected better from OTC, the jaws appear to be cast (who knows out of what), I was expecting forged pieces so they would last more then one use and be able to take the forces and shock stress involved in removing a pilot bearing.Overall it worked... once... probably not again, I certainly won't be counting on them again, which was my reason for buying OTC and not just renting the tool.

much cheaper then buying an actual blind hole bearing puller, only rated 4 stars due to the quality, seems flimsy but will definitely get the job done if used for proper applications (Small bearings)

fingers broke or bent while trying to pull bearing from Chevy 350. Could not pull bearing, but maybe this was more stubborn than most. Learned a trick from watching youtube. Stuff bread into hole and using a bolt that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the pilot hole, drive the bearing out using a hammer. The hydraulic (dough) pressure will force the bearing out. Only took 5 minutes using this method, and cleanup was easy.

Not a tool I'll use every day, but it seems constructed well enough to be up to the task, and it was cheaper than renting. It worked well in my application.

This is one of those tools you may not need often, but it saves you a lot of time and frustration. Makes quick work of removing a pilot bearing or any bearing or race that must be removed without rear access, that is sized to this tool. Of course you must have a slide hammer to use properly. The quality means you will have it for life, if don't loan it.
