One can never have enough launch boxes as they eventually inevitably wear down over time.I initially had an issue with the first launch box I received but it was swapped out and good to go now. Their customer service and response time as a seller are also outstanding!Going to purchase another for an inactive spare as I usually keep 2 with me at all times. The container is also pretty heavy duty so I have no doubt it will last quite a while. It gives the appearance of being water-tight and also has some shock absorption built in as well for when it inevitably falls. Also nice it comes with the attached dust caps as well as dust caps.

I have the SKYSHL SS303T-2A1 fiber tester, and this works great for me. You have to get a cable that's compatible with your equipment, and it can be confusing. The cable I got is the SC/APC-SC/APC. The cable seems to be excellent quality, and the case it comes in is also excellent quality as well. As this works for me, I have no complaints, and recommend this launch cable. 5 stars.

I have worked with networks for decades. But not that much with optical cables. So my optical specialist is teaching me how to test optical cables. He said that I needed a launch box and I got this OTDR Launch Cable Box. In initial tests it works fine. Does what it is supposed to do.This is the SC/APC-SC/UPC model. Which works for what we do. This one box will do for my beginning tests. It is a rugged box with room to spare. It should last a long time.

If you have and OTDR, you need a couple of launch boxes. Good affordable option.

This launch box performed exactly as expected. All fiber readings were within spec according to my tester, with no unexpected signal loss or noise. The connectors seated firmly, and the Corning SMF-28e+ fiber lived up to its reputation for quality and consistency. The build feels solid—the ABS case offers plenty of protection for routine use and handling. Connectors appear well-machined and durable, and the internal fiber layout seems properly managed.Overall, this is a reliable and well-made launch box that does its job with no fuss. Great for anyone needing dependable performance out of the box.
