I have this on my sewing worktable, and wish I had it a long time ago! I had my other Ott lamp for 11 years, and that bulb finally conked out and is no longer made. So, I went searching for a new lamp and found this one! It's so easy to move around and aim where you want the light, and the light is bright. You tap the button on the base 3 times for different light levels, and a 4th time to turn it off. I will probably get another one soon for a game table.

I have an old Ott Lite and by old I mean possibly 20 or more years old. It was given to me by a friend who no longer used it. It is big and clunky but the light it shed was incredible for my watercolor painting. I began to fear the bulb would eventually die so I ordered this new one. It, in comparison to the old one is small, slim and the base takes up practically no room in my little studio. I love the three light settings and find the highest setting higher than the old one lamp and I rarely use it finding the second setting to be just right for what I use it for. I highly recommend this for anyone who paints or does any kind of crafting.

Nice little lamp. Doesn't take up a lot of space and really gives off a lot of light at all the levels. I do crafting and need a lot of light and this works well and is easy to move into various spaces and heights.

Bought this desk lamp to provide light for my wife to sew. Detail work requires high viz lighting. This lamp has three levels of brightness for different tasks. Couldn’t be happier. Wil probably buy additional one for my office.
