My cheap silver cup chalks fit fairly loose, slightly better for my mid range chalk.I used a small bit of silicone tape to secure the chalk in the holder.Made of aluminum with decent strength magnets to hold the top on. The holder itself is not magnetic.Laser etched pretty well for personalization.Good to carry a loose chalk in my pocket when going to the bar.
