Within days of receiving this, I hit a large rock (at night) on my gravel bike (32 mm WTBs) and had nearly a 1/4 inch cut. I didn't think these would work, but shoved it in and cut off some excess, and nursed the bike home, adding air once or twice...The cut was too big for this to be a permanent fix, but I could not have ridden home without having this inexpensive kit. Very happy with it.

When I first purchased this kit, I was wary of the reamer not having coarse, gritty surface on the barrel for conditioning the puncture/hole. I was going to return it, but I carried it with me on one ride prior and found myself with a flat. The tool worked fine and now I am obliged to keep it.I found the bacon strips were good enough. In recent months, I have been running tubeless road tires and am learning about them. I discovered the presta valve gets sticky with tire sealant and can become blocked so that a pump will not work and the valve has to be removed to be cleaned or swapped out. Luckily, I happened to have a device to unscrew the valve for cleaning but I would have been in bad shape otherwise. This tool does not have a valve removal feature like other tools.I believe something like the design of "RRK Tubeless Bike Tire Tool" is better and will most likely purchase one.The compact size of the tool is great.

wish i had this when i needed it. this was the cheapest variation i could find on amazon with a trustworthy brand. have bought oumers brand before without issue. only con is that the metal rod doesnt have a textured shaft to roughen the rubber hole (as do others), but this may not be necessary.

Went tubeless on MTB back in July and have used twice now for trail punctures. One rusty nail and the other some kind of hard plastic thing. There is enough room inside for me to add 5 additional bacon strips of a smaller diameter as well. Keep in rolled up in the OutVi under bike seat for now.
