I would have given it a 5 if the last step for assembly would work. You have to align 4 screws that you cannot see. The trick is to loosen the handles to be able to pull it apart to align the screws.

Assembly was a breeze and the screwdriver that is included was really nice and is now stolen by the wife. The color is vibrant and stands out when placed next to our pond. The color is so vibrant that it needs flowers nearby and a bit of landscaping around the bench in order to look really cute. The bench has a lot of cross beams under the seat and the frame is made of the same sturdy material which doesn't have any deflection when I sit down, so I think it will be quite durable. The one issue that we had is that the screws were really long and it had us twisting the screw driver forever. I'll provide a picture showing the screws length sticking out of the side.Overall a good bench, and we do recommend it.

The Onbrill bench is an outdoor bench fabricated from polymeric simulated wood planks. It is held together with stainless steel machine screws. It is shipped un-assembled and has all the hardware and tools needed to assemble. The shipping box is heavy and clumsy to handle. The components are well protected in the outer case. The assembly instructions are clear. Embedded in the component parts are screw bosses that receive the attaching machine screw. The bosses are co-molded with the plastic parts and they look like they have a good grip.Assembly is straightforward. The bench’s back is the last piece to be attached. By then, the stack up in tolerances causes the attachment screws to not easily find its mating boss. Some wiggling around is needed to engage the screws cleanly without cross threading. The bench has a nice well-saturated pastel blue color. The top edge of the bench’s back has coloration that is not saturated. But this surface is canted away from the view so it is not easily visible.Sitting on the bench for the first time affirms your choice in buying this item. It is a solid feel with no sag. The sitting dimensions are similar to chairs found in orthopedic doctor’s waiting room – very ample all around. The backrest is angled slightly which adds to the sitting experience. The bench looks like it’s fabricated from painted wood, not extruded plastic parts.Outdoor furniture take a beating from the sun. The screw bosses are plated steel. Rainwater will find its way, over time, to these mating parts and corrode them. Only time will tell if the Onbrill bench ages well. I think I will have years of use out of the bench. The Onbrill bench is worth the $200. price.Top rating.

My son put this together for me in 40 mins. All the pieces were there and the instructions were clear. Nice front porch bench. It’s a very pretty teak. I may get a bench cushion and a couple outdoor pillows to dress it up.

Very, very good quality! It was easy to put together *** with the exception of the last (back) piece. The benchback is actually tilted towards the back, with the top end going further back than the bottom. This is important when you are trying to blindly line up the last few holes/screws. That isn’t mentioned in the instructions. So just tilt the backrest back when installing (about 1/4” inch - the back is NOT flush to the seat) and the screws will go right in.
