It keeps food dry and water doesn't freeze. The stray cats appreciate that.

I wanted something to keep the food dry for the outside cats I feed. This was the purrfect solution. It's larger than I expected, holding two medium size bowls and one smaller bowl. The best part is it even comes with stakes so you don't have to worry about it blowing away. Since it does velcro together I would check on the inside to be sure it is put together properly. I noticed a slight gap on one side when I first put it together which would have allowed water to get in. After some heavy rain, the food has remained dry.

I feed 3 possums and 2 feral cats. Keeps their food dry from the rain. They go right in and eat.

We have a couple feral cats and a moms possum and baby and it keeps the cat food dry for them no matter what the weather brings. Easy to wash with soap water and hose them done. Very easy to put together and well made!

Looks exactly as pictured and it’s sturdy, but it doesn’t protect from rain or weather. I bought this to prevent water from getting inside the food bowls for the outside cats in my area I even had it underneath a table as extra protection from the rain, and it still completely soaked through.

This takes up alot of space . The bowls I bought to put in here were too big. The bowls pictured are not the ones I bought to put in here. I have to buy smaller dishes for this set up. Wind and rain still get in it. It is made well though.

So far so good with this little house, I bought it to keep the food out of the elements. I have 2 ant moat bowls that are a decent size and they both fit side by side with an inch of room on each side and at least 3 inches front and back. There is a small open area on the back left bottom for your blanket/heated bowl cord. It’s easy thick velcro that keeps this together and only took 5 minutes to assemble. I did place a layer of bricks under it so it’s not sitting in puddles or future snow. We’ve also had a few rain storms plus a few days of really windy days and it has stayed put with a bowl of water and food in it. I also added an insulated heat pad inside just in case any creatures need to warm up for a little. Altogether I’d recommend this, I can’t see it doing much in really cold or bad weather as far as protection with the entire front being open but it is perfect for protecting the food. However if you have a covered porch that has protection from the elements then this would definitely work as a house!

My feral cat almost immediately adjusted to eating his meals under cover and I'm happy that his food is protected from rain. The Cat House itself was easy to put together with its velcro fastenings and is sturdy. I only wish that the Cat House was a little wider and much deeper. There is enough room for small food/water dishes, but once in place, there is not enough room for a cat, even a medium-sized cat like mine, which is then forced to eat its nicely protected food outside the Cat House without any rain protection whatsoever.
