This is only the second time using the awning. In the picture attached was in the middle of a rainstorm with the extension on to make it 16 ft long along with a sidewall attached to keep the sideways rain from hitting us. 10 out of 10 would recommend it to anybody! Thank you for an amazing product.

I recived package and was excited to install on my jeep that we use at the lake for jetski trips. I unboxed the awning and it became apparent that It was missing the instalation hardware. What a disappointment 😞 below is a list of items that are missing. Don't purchase unless you want to spend more money on hardware...- 2x Plates - 2x Wrenches- 4x M8x25 Bolts - 4x M6x55 Bolts- 4x M6 Nyloc Nuts - 4x M8 Nyloc Nuts

Decent awning for the cost BUT:one of the four telescoping aluminum tubes thatake this function was missing a piece. They use a cam lock system to lock the pole at the length desired (for height on the ones at the end of the awning, to support the edges for the ones that come out from the mounted side. After installation, went to use it finding that one of the cams was missing (or possibly stuck at the bottom of the tube). Either way, unusable as it was not in the pole nor could I get anything it out without damage (if it is still in there). The sad part is after contact, where I requested the part as I did NOT want to uninstall, was told to uninstall for a fix. I have a cam from an old set of hiking poles I can probably use and glue in place but the response was uninspiring and did not fill me with confidence is something else goes wrong. The connection for these cams is really sketch as well: 3 dimpled places on the exterior of the small tubes that try to hold into the plastic of the cam. Shoddy work and I recommend some type of reinforcement as if they fail in the field, makes it unusable. If you don't mind working on a new product... Worth it. If not, perhaps explore other options as the poles, both the cams and the way they mount is really cheaply made. Not terrible but I have no confidence in the longevity. The awning material and the track mount are not bad (if lightweight... Expected for the cost of the unit).

Our awning arrived quickly, my husband and I installed it in approximately 30 minutes. Use it the next day, it took about 3 minutes to set up and another 3 minutes to take down when we were done. We are super happy with it. It’s great after a long hike in the sun.

The awning gets the job done. I didn't mind that it did not come with directions. It is pretty self explanatory to mount and set up. I did have to get longer lag bolts for my particular roof rack. The quality of the materials are yet to be seen but overall it's a great addition to our teardrop camper
