It does its job and covers the firepit to keep it dry.

This cover seems solid, fits excellently and has good solid quality material that did hold water without much condensation underneath after sitting over night and through the morning sun. Has all the necessary features like air vents, taped seams, and cinch cords to secure it for wind.I cannot speak to the covers longevity as I have only had it for just over a month, however it has been in the SoCal sun for that entire time and so far no visible fading or color change, so that bodes well. I will update this if anything changes in the next 9 months. This cover is to replace one that a renter destroyed by putting on the firepit right after they had turned off the fire. It was a solid cover but needed another so this one was available and decided to give it a shot. At $23 this one was a bit cheaper, though there was one difference. The old one most of the seams were double stitched around the clasps and other areas of potential tension this one seems mostly single stitched, though I am not in a high wind area so likely not going to be an issue for me.Overall this is a very well fitted and constructed cover and definitely worth the $23 (for 36"D x 20"H), if you need a cover this seems a solid choice.

The quality of the cover seems to be good with taped seams and a great design. I knew going into this that my firepit didn't quite fit the exact dimensions of the cover, so of course, I had to err on a larger size so it would cover the fire pit. My fire pit measures about 34" in diameter and 16" high so I had to get the 36"x20" size. I thought that it would still be fine and it is, but I would have liked a better way to manage the extra slop that is leftover from my lack of firepit height. It is nice that there is a draw string and clip attachments to tighten the bottom, but that doesn't stop it from looking really sloppy. For now, it works as a cover, but my fear is that when the wind blows it will blow up like a balloon and flap around.
