I got this for my youngest and it fits really well. So far we haven't had to put it to the test, thankfully, but it seems sturdy and well padded.

My son has on the low end of the sizing chart so the helmet is just a tad loose/wobbly. The helmet seems have pretty good construction and is very lightweight. He also likes the designs since he's into ocean creatures. Also this has MIPS...good or bad is up to you and which side of the fence you stand on.One negative aspect is that the adjustment areas on each side of the helmet is not very secure. It seems to just get moved easily and often times expands when we don't want it to. It could also be due the helmet just barely being to big, but we shall see when our kid grows a little more.

Looks really cute in person - bought the unicorn color - and fits well. I love that it features the MIPS technology for that price. It seems to have great ventilation too which is important in the Florida summer heat.

I'm hesitant to give a protective piece of equipment a 5 star rating, just because if it isn't as good as I think, I don't want to steer a parent wrong. Well, I am a mountain biker myself and own a pair of high end helmets from Troy Lee Designs and Fox, plus have done some research into them. This helmet has the MIPS system, which is the only type of helmet I would ever pay money for any more. The benefits are that great. This childs helmet is slightly less padded than my helmets, but it is for a smaller child, so that is expected. Other than that, the quality is at least as good as my helmets.

After outgrowing her old helmet, my daughter has been on the lookout for a new one. When she saw pink and purple and unicorns she was sold! It was certainly the perfect design for her.It seems to fit her well and her long hair doesn't get stuck in random places like it often does with some helmets.We haven't crash tested it yet and plan not to. So we're just going on looks, comfort, and price and it seems to check all of those boxes.

This is a great looking helmet for kids and is a high quality item, too. It is not too heavy for a child and will provide good protection from falls. Kids must practice good safety procedures when riding and this helmet helps make that possible.

I feel that the 2 most important features in a kid’s bike helmet are: safety, and making the helmet appealing enough so that your kid will actually wear it! This helmet seems to be of decent quality, and it fits well. The straps are adjustable and the helmet is comfortable for him to wear.He likes the colors and shark design, and is excited to ride his new scooter - because it also matches his helmet. We haven’t had any major falls yet, so I can’t comment on how well it holds up, but it seems similar in construction to comparable helmets, and the most important thing at this time is that he is willing to wear it and establish good habits for later.This helmet is a win for our needs.
