description says cotton bulk patches. these patches are not cotton. i have another box of Outers .22 cotton bulk patches to compare them against. should have just ordered the 250 pack

Not cotton as stated in listing. Patches are clearly different material than Outers patches bought at local Gander Mountain. Also, patches are sloppily cut, resulting in random sized and shaped patches. Shape is not an issue with function, but size clearly is. Too large and fit is too tight. Too small and entire bore may not be covered. Size variance in this package of patches is greater than 50%. Very disappointing coming from Amazon. Will go back to bricks and mortar for these so I can see what I am getting. Too bad "0 stars" is not an option.

These may work well, but I wanted cotton patches and these are synthetic per Outers web site[...]I will return them because cotton does a better job.

Good price on patches. The material was a little thing, but with the amount you get it is still a good value.
