I got the alligator version of this dog toy. First off the toy is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The toy is essentially a plastic water bottle wrapped in plushy fabric with a plushy alligator head on top. I have a terrier mix so I was afraid the toy would be too big for him but he didn’t have any issues and once the bottle was smashed it was easier for him to bite and hold onto the toy. He loves the squeaking sound that the toy makes. He’s had the toy for over a day and hasn’t destroyed it so I’d say it's decently durable.

I hadn't checked the dimensions of this toy before I ordered it, so I was surprised by how big it was when I opened it! It's a great size for bigger dogs, and I was a little worried it would be too big for my Boston Terrier mix, but she's had no issues with it so far. It has a fun squeaker inside and also a crinkly bottle for various kinds of engagement. It's a cute little alligator that's plush and fun to swing around. My toddler is also a huge fan of it, which just goes to show that the Venn diagram of dog toys and kid toys is almost nearly a circle.

Between the obnoxious crinkle and the squeaking that happens simultaneously, my 7-year-old shiba inu loves destroying this alligator toy! He likes to play tug-of-war, flings it up/down, violently shakes it, and so far he hasn’t destroyed it. So, durability-wise, it’s held up to his antics, but he hasn’t been super determined to destroy it…yet!Ultimately, it’s when he slowly gnaws on the edges that they eventually rip apart, because no fabric toy has held up to his insistent gnawing. So while the fabric is tougher than your average squeaky toy, it might not hold up against very aggressive chewers.The alligator size is actually larger than I was expecting, but that doesn’t take away from the enjoyment when my dog lays the smackdown on it.

Junk - don’t waste your money. Cheaply made and only good for the smallest of dogs that won’t do anything but carry it around. If you take your hand and squeeze to hear the “squeak” the plastic is SO CHEAP I thought it was going to break. Just pass on this - take your chances on anything else.

Outward Hound Bottle Bros Alligator Dog Toy is way bigger than expected. This says size medium. It's more of a large or XL. My dog is small so he isn't able to play with the toy. The toy is nicely made. The fabric has a nice thickness that I think can withstand semi aggressive chewing. The noise that comes out of this is loud and annoying, but that's what attracts my dog. I worry that the alligator tail could be a choking hazard.

Love it! My dog loves elephants, but is super picky with her toys and she loves this one! 10/10! I think her favorite part is the crinkle and squeak! Definitely recommending to all my dog parent friends!

The fit and finish of the product is good but when I opened the box I was surprised by the size. Out plush layer is cute but not very rugged. The build quality is meant for smaller dogs but the size is more for bigger dogs... The pommeranians won't play with it due to size and I am sure the German Shepherds will destroy it in under 5 minutes.As I was feeling the body of the toy, I think it actually has a water bottle inside for the crackle noise. I can feel the ribs and cap of the bottle sewed up inside. Wonder if it is recycling of a bottle or a new bottle that was used?
