I haven't installed this yet. Looks pretty solid. HOWEVER, BEWARE-- one of the reviews says it comes with a great motor. It does NOT come with motor. It is a hand crank.

Product installs pretty easy. All pullies are made of good sturdy quality. Only issue I ran into (not sure if it will effect everyone) the gear drive for the winch does not operate smoothly. When trying to use a power drill with the adapter provided, the nut that attached to the wheel stripped the threads and will not rotate the gear. I am having to only be able to use the hand crank which, although works, is difficult and time consuming since the gear drive does not operate smoothly. If the vendor can reach out to me, I'd like to discuss.

Solid kit, as advertised. Can't confirm the weight load but used it for a victorian cloths dryer and this will work great

Great value for a well designed hoist system for garage storage. The unit is easy to assemble and to install with all hardware included. The powerful electric motor can lift up to 300 pounds. The hoist works with ceilings from 8 to 16 feet. Excellent storage option.
