I like the heavy weight of this lemon squeezer and the material seems like true stainless steel, unlike others I’ve seen. However, the top “bowl” piece that puts pressure on the fruit has two small gaps on either end that could allow liquid/pulp to collect and potentially mold. I didn’t want to risk it, so it’s going back. Almost a great item!

This lemon press is sturdy and works very well. The hinge looks like it will last longer than my previous lemon press which did last years before it wore out.

I use a lot of lemons & limes in my kitchen. For juicing I got by with an old school reamer for years, mostly because, well... I had it. Finally determined to lessen the mess & get a squeezer. Tried a couple of mostly plastic designs that were little more than toys. Very fragile toys. Landed eventually on this all metal one & I couldn't be happier. Not only quicker & easier than a reamer, it produces far more juice, plus that juice goes right into the measuring cup & not all over the cabinet. Feels sturdy, reinforced in key areas. I expect it to last through many citrus seasons to come.

This citrus juicer is made out of stainless steel. It is an extremely solid, thick piece of stainless steel. It looks solid and attractive, and seems to be built like a tank.As with any juicer of this type, it does take a good bit of a squeeze initially and then gets a bit easier as you squeeze the citrus. It does have excellent leverage, and seems about as good this type of design can be. Seriously, the only way it could be made any better would be to add some type of ratchet mechanism like vice grip pliers or something.I was going to get a plastic one, but figured I would try this one. It works amazingly well!I've juiced a few limes with it so far to make some margaritas. Pure joy with this thing.Normally I write pros and cons for a product. I can't think of any cons, except perhaps it costs a few dollars more than cheap plastic, but well worth the difference. The way this thing is built it will outlast me.It comes in a simple, easy to open cardboard box. It has no instructions which was a bit disappointing, but not much. There are plenty of other instructions available, and in the end it really is a simple device. Just know too slice your fruit in half, and put it in skin side up. Some suggest a few slits across the top of the cut citrus to make squeezing easier. There, now you have the missing instructions.Just buy this for squeezing citrus, especially lemons and limes. This is a fantastic bar accessory and can certainly be used for other times that you need to squeeze some citrus. It is too small for a grapefruit, and probably OK for small oranges. Other than that it is great.
