I like them a lot because they’re sharp and get a lot of hookups. Specifically, I like the tournament version because they’re inline and studies show that’s a bit better for fish release survivability than offset circle hooks and way better than j-hooks. I’ve bought them in all sizes and they’re solid all the way through.

These hooks catch fish. If you are going inshore fishing, I recommend 2.0's or 3.0's for red and trout. Anything bigger is probably best for deep sea. If you wanna utilize for whole large mullet bait, I'd go with a 6.0 for big Bullreads. These hooks are super sharp and pretty strong. They're not offset but you may tweak them to be. Love these. I use them to wacky rig 5” stick worms (senko’s) for bass. Great hookup ratio and almost always in the corner of the mouth. I rarely miss a strike or lose a fish with these.
